Overview

Contrateur is an open-ended body of work built on an interest around slow and virtuous travel. Since 2015, Taylor has personally traveled and photographed over 25 countries around the world. The output is an ongoing documentary, featuring one-off excerpts and long-form stories. Works in progress are currently viewable on Contrateur's website, and instagram - @contrateur. This project is not yet finished and remains a work-in-progress until otherwise stated.

Photographs and stories carry the innate power to bring people together—crossing foreign borders, language, religion, and political constructs. In a world of glossified social media, our project exists to earnestly document and capture the cultural depth that extends beyond mainstream travel.
